A federal raid this week on the country’s largest kosher slaughterhouse — which allegedly turned up a drug lab and hundreds of illegal immigrants — was the culmination of a six-month investigation.
Agents arrested 390 workers May 12 at the Agriprocessors plant in Postville, Iowa in what Immigration and Customs Enforcement called the largest raid of its kind in U.S. history.
In the affidavit filed as part of the 60-page application for a search warrant, additional details were revealed about the government’s investigation of Agriprocessors, a company that has been accused of violating health and safety laws, mistreating workers and using controversial slaughter practices.
According to the document, a former supervisor at the plant — identified only as “Source #1” — told investigators about 80 percent of the workforce was illegal.
The source also said he believed rabbis responsible for kosher supervision entered the United States from Canada without proper immigration documents. According to the affidavit, the source did not provide evidence for his suspicions about the rabbis.
Source #1 also claimed to have discovered active production of methamphetamine at the plant and reported incidents of weapons being carried there.
Methamphetamine, more commonly known as crystal meth, is illegal in the United States. The drug gives users a sense of energy and euphoria that can last for hours.
From my experiences, meth is one helluva lot more addictive and makes the user much more psychotic than heroin.

Israelis involved in the Ecstasy trade in the U.S. are scattered around the country, and according to the authorities are not necessarily organized in large groups, and certainly not under one criminal umbrella organization. There is no Israeli mafia that deals in Ecstasy, but wherever the drug is trafficked on a significant scale, there are sure to be Israelis in the vicinity. Israelis figure prominently in cases currently under investigation in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York and Miami - cities that constitute the primary source of drug consumption at parties in the U.S.
According to a report issued in 2003 by the U.S. State Department, Israel is at the center of international trafficking in Ecstasy and Israeli crime organizations, some of them linked to similar organizations from Russia, achieved a dominant status in the Ecstasy market in Europe, and went on to control the drug's distribution in the States. "Israeli drug-trafficking organizations are the main source of distribution of the drug to groups in the U.S, using express mail services, commercial airlines, and recently also using air cargo services," the report states. The authorities do not provide official data on the scope of the Israeli trade in Ecstasy, but the most commonly heard estimate is that Israeli criminals control no less than 75 percent of the Ecstasy market in the U.S.
How did Israel become a central player in this dubious game? The explanation is apparently historical in character. A report of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) explains, in understated language, that "Israeli drug traffickers, perhaps thanks to their long-standing ties in Antwerp, continue to be the major elements in the transfer of large shipments of Ecstasy from Belgium [to the United States]." Underlying this cautious formulation is the assumption that Israeli mobsters have been operating for years in Belgium, mainly in diamond smuggling, and that when the country became a source of Ecstasy production in Europe and Antwerp became the drug's major export hub to the U.S., Israeli criminals naturally became involved. After all, they were already there.
Gosh, do you think that Israel would actually produce XTC in country, then use it's ambassadors diplomatic immunity and their ability to carry anything they want to in diplomatic pouches, to ship XTC around the world?
BTW, a diplomatic pouch is not restricted to being an actual pouch, they can declare a shipping container the size of a truck to be a deplomatic pouch and make it immune to inspection.
Israeli cocaine ring rounded up in Lima

(WMR) -- Peruvian police have rounded up an Israeli-led cocaine smuggling ring, according to the Peruvian Ministry of the Interior and Reuters.
On December 2, Peruvian police confiscated over a half ton of cocaine bound for Europe and Israel from Lima and Chorillos. In October, more sizable amounts of cocaine from the same criminal syndicate were seized by police in the Bahamas and Spain.
Peruvian police believe the cocaine ring’s leader is Israeli national Moris Abdelhak, aka “The Welder,” who was arrested last nobth in Peru. Abdelhak, whose residence is Kiryat Yam, Israel, specialized in hiding cocaine in machinery that was then sent to phony companies either via land route to Chile and then by sea to Europe and Haifa or by air directly from Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima. Some of the cocaine shipped to Israel was transported via an additional smuggling route to Jordan.
Four Peruvian citizens have also been arrested in the cocaine bust in Peru. Israeli police are still looking for the top ring leader, Moshe El-Garbli, a former soccer player from Magdim who uses the name “The Referee.” Last month, Israeli police arrested 10 Israelis in an investigation of the cocaine ring that shipped the drugs into Haifa in shipping containers.
On October 11, 2006, Estonian police arrested four Israelis tied to the cocaine smuggling ring. Nahum Yaron Kahana, Meir Shushan, Shimon Yaloz, and Moshe Moris Benyamin were arrested for trying to smuggle cocaine into Tallinn hidden in a gearwheel shipped from Lima. Benyamin, 63, reportedly suffered a “brain stroke” while in custody and he was released to relatives who took him back to Israel.
