NEW DELHI: Times Now has accessed an exclusive interview of Lashkar-e-Taiba chief Hafiz Saeed given to the Outlook magazine, in which he has denied any links to the Mumbai attacks.

"We didn't do it. Lashkar doesn't believe in targeting civilians. It is not the first time India has blamed Pakistan. It was the intelligence failure that led to Mumbai attacks," LeT founder said in the interview.

Hafiz further added that India is using Pakistan as a punching bag to cover up its own failures and is not interested in a proper probe into the attacks.
"They (India) started blaming Pakistan even when the operations were still underway," says Hafiz

My inference: We cannot conclude anything about his statements as of now. But we need to have a little sense of prudence to introspect the official version especially coz there are multifarious loop-holes and dubious instances. Believe it or not, i have been following this news lately in Times now and they were having a discussion on it and as always, yes u guessed it – The “so called panelists” trashed his denial straight away and were singing the same old song. Somehow I feel our media is just singing out the same tunes what American Mainstream Media have been playing outright after 911.
